Introduction

I am an experienced software developer with a wide background in design, coding, documentation and testing of business applications. In addition I have considerable experience in technical writing, having developed online help files, user guides, manuals, newsletters, brochures and an e-book on payroll basics.

My qualifications include:

Management:
Served as System Manager for Automated Business Systems, handling systems analysis on new projects, overseeing new installations and supervising employees in three offices. Also worked as Operations Manager for Metro Systems and Metro Data Processing, with reponsibility for daily service bureau operations including time-critical payroll processing.

Programming:
Have worked on both individual and team projects, coordinating closely with clients and producing under tight schedules. Familiar with a variety of hardware and operating systems ranging from IBM mainframes to PCs to Palm handheld computers. Developed or helped develop time billing, inventory, crude oil purchasing, revenue distribution, utility billing, vehicle leasing, and cable billing applications as well as a comprehensive multi-state payroll system.
